Discover Isla del Caño’s underwater world on a guided boat tour through the Pacific. Explore the biological reserve with snorkeling equipment provided for your time in the water.
Embark on a full-day adventure to the stunning Isla del Caño Biological Reserve. Your day begins with a warm welcome at our office where our experienced team will provide a comprehensive safety briefing before your departure at 7:00 AM. Cruise through the Pacific for approximately 1.5 hours, enjoying the chance to spot majestic whales (seasonal), playful dolphins, graceful sea turtles, and a diverse array of birdlife. Upon reaching Isla del Caño, immerse yourself in two snorkeling sessions at the captain’s and guide’s carefully selected locations, depending on the day’s conditions. These sessions typically last 1.5 hours or more, allowing ample time to explore the underwater world.
Between snorkeling adventures, relax and recharge with a delicious snack of sandwiches, soft drinks, water, or fresh fruit. After your second snorkeling session, visit the enchanting Violines Island before returning to the boat for a satisfying lunch. Please note that due to environmental regulations, meals are served onboard. If weather conditions dictate, we may return directly to Punta Uvita.
Lunch: Savor a typical Costa Rican meal featuring rice, chicken or pork, tortillas, fresh fruit, and refreshing beverages.
