Gareth and his team have created something special here with their e-bike winery tours in Kelowna. The bikes themselves get consistent praise for being high-quality and powerful, with thoughtful extras like phone chargers, Bluetooth speakers, large panniers for wine bottles, and strong throttles that make even the biggest hills effortless. What really stands out is the custom app they provide that guides you along curated routes, avoiding problematic roads and ensuring the wineries are actually open. The staff clearly knows the area and goes above and beyond with recommendations and setup. The self-guided format appeals to visitors who want freedom to explore at their own pace while still having support. Multiple reviewers mention coming back for a second tour or planning to return with friends, which speaks volumes. One minor note: the navigation app can drain your phone battery quickly, though the bikes do have chargers (they just charge slowly). Most people simply plugged in at wineries to top up. The routes showcase beautiful Okanagan Valley scenery and lead to a nice mix of established wineries and unique spots like the honey winery that several people loved.
Absolutely wonderful experience e-biking to Myra canyon today, we had a thorough briefing from Gareth (first time on one of these for me), including about the challenges of the ride (it's very tough!). But totally worth it, the scenery is simply spectacular, the bike worked a treat and I'm now a convert. Thank you so much Lakeside Eco-Sports, I will remember today forever....!
