Learn scuba fundamentals in a 4-hour pool and classroom session before heading to the reef. This program does not certify you to dive independently.
- Practice using scuba equipment before your reef dive
- Dive a shallow reef with your instructor on a two-tank dive
- Explore reef sites that are generally less than 25 feet deep
- Continue diving afterward only under dive-professional supervision
Important details
- Ages 10+ only
- Allow at least 24 hours between your dive and flying
- Not available if you have asthma, use an inhaler, have diabetes, are pregnant, have epilepsy, have reduced pulmonary function, have had a heart attack or heart surgery, or have another major medical concern

Each participant needs to complete a medical/student waiver for this course.
Bring a towel, reef-safe sunscreen, a reusable drinking bottle, and any personal dive gear you want to use. Water and cooler space for personal snacks and drinks are available onboard.
