Must be 21+; underage guests are not permitted. If you are pregnant or avoid alcohol, notify in advance so mocktails can be arranged. Do not arrive intoxicated or disruptive.
Can we bring our kids that are underage, even if they don't drink?
Sorry, but no. Of the four venues, 3 are strictly 21+ bars.
What should I wear? Are there any dress codes?
There are no dress codes at any venues. Dress as comfortably as you'd like.
Does the tour cost include the price of the cocktails?
Yes, the tour is all inclusive of all cocktails, and gratuities to all servers. The only additional cost is the optional yet encouraged gratuity to the Tour Guide.
If I don't drink cocktails, can I order beers or wines instead?
Sorry, but we have a set menu of historic cocktails, and do not facilitate substitutions. However, if you are pregnant or don't drink alcohol for other reasons, we are happy to arrange mocktails instead of cocktails.
I missed my flight / broke my leg / got food poisoning / flight was canceled / etc., can I get a refund or reschedule?
We provide a 100% refund for any cancellation made 24 hours or more prior to a tour. Within 24 hours we do not provide refunds or reschedules, regardless of circumstance.
You will receive a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before your tour. There are no refunds for no-shows, reschedules, or cancellations within 24 hours of the tour, regardless of circumstances.

Patrick’s Bar Vin – 730 Bienville St, New Orleans, LA
Gary stands out as the star guide here, earning consistent praise for his passionate storytelling and ability to weave New Orleans history with its culinary traditions. Guests love how he brings the city to life through humor and deep knowledge, making the tour engaging for everyone from history buffs to families with kids. Other guides like John, Meg, and Beth also lead tours, with most reviewers leaving satisfied and well-fed after sampling classic dishes like gumbo, muffaletta, and pralines at various French Quarter spots. A couple of visitors felt the tour leaned too heavily on scripted information or included stops at touristy souvenir shops that felt more commercial than authentic. The pace can vary by guide, with some delivering facts quickly while others create more space for conversation. Still, the overwhelming majority found this to be an excellent introduction to New Orleans, especially when done early in a trip to help plan the rest of your dining adventures. If you're looking for a foundation in Creole and Cajun cuisine combined with local history, this tour delivers that experience.
