After you load and the carriage is cleared for departure, you must check in at the gate. The City of Charleston assigns one of four routes at random using a bingo-ball color system, which determines the zone your carriage can tour.
During non-daylight savings time, the last carriage departs at 4:00pm daily. Arrive at least 30 minutes before the last carriage or your spot is not guaranteed.
Your ride begins near the Historic City Market and finishes back at the Historic City Market.
