Know before you go
- Arrive at least 15 minutes before departure to pick up tickets
- Mine entry is limited to ages 5+; younger children may remain above ground at the mine site with a ticketed adult
- Children ages 1–10 must be accompanied by an adult at all times
- Infants 11 months and younger must ride on a lap or in a body carrier; strollers and car seats are not allowed on the train
- Mine touring requires long-distance walking on a steep, uneven gravel hill above 9,000 feet
- Mine touring requires independent walking without mobility aids; wheelchairs cannot be accommodated at the mine site
- Mine touring requires good health and no heart, respiratory, mobility issues, or recent surgeries
- Wear the required hard hat inside the mine and expect low ceilings and temperatures of 40°F–45°F
- Do not bring alcohol, recreational drugs, glass, or large hard-sided coolers
- Accept a liability waiver acknowledging the risks of train and mine activities
Cancellation Policy
Cancel up to 48 hours before departure for a 90% refund of the ticket subtotal. No refund within 48 hours of departure. Transfers incur a 10% fee.
FAQs
Arrive prepared for changing weather. Trains may be delayed or canceled, and refunds or rain checks are not offered for inclement weather.
Wear close-toed shoes and dress for 40°F–45°F inside the mine. Wear the required hard hat throughout the underground tour, and stay well-hydrated for the high altitude.
Premium seating is not available for the Sasquatch Adventure Train with Extended Mine Tour.
