Know before you go
- Complete a waiver; a parent or legal guardian must complete waivers for minors
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+
- Children ages 5–14 must ride in a tandem kayak with an adult aged 18+
- Children must weigh at least 40 lb; the tandem middle seat is only for children ages 5–7
- Children under 5 are not recommended, and children under 3 are strongly discouraged due to heat and safety concerns
- Maximum weight is 260 lb per person; travelers 6'1"–6'8" may weigh up to 300 lb, and the maximum height is 6'8"
- Wear the provided life jacket at all times
- Swimming ability is not required, but this is a self-guided rental and you proceed at your own risk
- Not recommended for respiratory, heart, or back conditions, second-trimester pregnancy, or recent surgeries
- Use the rental for the same traveler throughout; sharing, swapping, or transferring is not permitted
- Tax applies and is not included in the listed price
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled rental to avoid the full charge. Group bookings require at least 72 hours' notice unless otherwise agreed in writing. If severe weather makes the rental unsafe, you can reschedule or receive a full refund at no extra charge.
FAQs
Wear beachwear or quick-dry layers and water shoes or sandals, not flip-flops. Your feet and ankles will get wet. Bring sunglasses and sunscreen; bring a light jacket, windbreaker, and gloves from December through February.
Emotional support animals are not allowed. Service animals require prior approval. Dogs require prior approval, must be house-trained, and have an additional fee that is not included in the listed price.
