Start the day paddling through Zeke’s Island Coastal Reserve as the sun rises. Explore islands, marshes, and tidal flats in a protected 1,635-acre ecosystem.
Check-In & Safety Briefing Guests arrive at the launch location at 2515 Fort Fisher Blvd S in Kure Beach. Guides provide kayaks, paddles, life vests, and a quick safety overview.
Launch & Paddle to Zeke’s Island Coastal Reserve Participants paddle toward the protected islands and marshlands that make up the Zeke’s Island Coastal Reserve.
Explore the Coastal Ecosystem Guests kayak through tidal flats, marshes, and barrier islands while spotting wildlife such as birds, fish, and other marine life.
Island Stops & Exploration Depending on conditions, the group may stop for shell hunting, island hopping, or exploring the shoreline.
Return Paddle After exploring the reserve, the group paddles back to the launch point to end the tour.
