Itinerary

There's no better way to enjoy a Big Bend sunset than from the back of a trusty horse while getting acquainted with the natural world around you. During this 2 to 2.5-hour experience you will ride through hilly desert terrain up to a small campsite atop a scenic mesa for a mid-ride break where you will enjoy a Cheese & Fruit tray (Salami Optional) and choice of beverage. Wine, Beer or Soft Drink.

Important details

• Ages 7+ only; minimum height 4 ft
• Weight range 40–240 lbs. No more than three riders may weigh over 225 lbs. You'll be weighed at check-in for rider and horse safety.
• Requires the ability to follow directions
• Riders under 18 require an accompanying adult
• Complete the waiver within 48 hours of booking to remain eligible to ride
• Wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. If you're under 18, wear the provided helmet.
• Bring any special medication you may need during the ride, such as an inhaler or EpiPen
• Do not use your cell phone during the horseback ride
• Rides do not run above 100°F or during an Extreme Heat Warning
• Arrive 15 minutes before departure for introductions and paperwork
