Ages 12+ and minimum weight 90 lb (41 kg); minors must be accompanied by an adult. Trip runs rain or shine, and duration is approximate due to traffic and river flow.
Bookings (1-7 pax): Refunds/changes require at least 48 hours notice; non-refundable within 48 hours of departure. Group bookings (8+ pax): Full refunds require at least 7 days notice; non-refundable within 7 days of departure. Operator may cancel with full refund or modify any trip.
You must be at least 12 years old and weigh at least 90 lb (41 kg). If you’re under 18, you must be accompanied by an adult on the river.
Wear a swimsuit (or swim shorts) under your regular clothes so you can change easily at the river. Bring a towel and warm clothes for after the trip. If it’s cold or rainy, bring extra insulating layers to wear under your paddle jacket (polypropylene, fleece, or wool works best when wet). You can also bring water and a snack for the bus ride after your Sunwapta River rafting trip.
Store any belongings you bring on the bus during the trip.
