Things to know
Hot air ballooning is an exciting outdoor adventure, but it may not be suitable for everyone. Guests who are pregnant, have children under 8, have recently done deep scuba diving, or are experiencing chronic pain or recovering from major surgery are encouraged to join the chase and breakfast instead of flying. Please consult your physician if you have medical concerns. For safety, if the combined weight of two guests is 520 lbs or more, an additional ticket is required to ensure proper weight balance.
Cancellation Policy
Guests may cancel or reschedule standard flights up to 72 hours before the flight without penalty. Cancellations within 72 hours are charged in full. Flights canceled due to weather are not charged and can be rescheduled.
FAQs
A: Please plan to be with Sonoma Ballooning for approximately 3 to 4 hours, as ballooning does not have a fixed end time.
A: Please dress in comfortable layers and wear closed-toe shoes. We recommend sunblock and a hat. You may bring a camera, but bags such as purses or backpacks are not permitted.
A: Yes. You must be able to climb into and out of the basket, stand for about an hour, walk on uneven terrain, and bend your knees to absorb landing impact.
