The crew here consistently earns praise for making divers feel safe and comfortable, whether it's someone's first time or they're getting back in the water after years away. Names like April, Micah, Anna, Olga, and Captain Yoshi pop up repeatedly, with reviewers highlighting their friendliness, patience, and expertise. The operation runs smoothly from start to finish, with well-organized trips and thorough safety briefings that put nervous beginners at ease. Marine life sightings are a major highlight. Expect sea turtles (often in large numbers at cleaning stations), reef sharks, octopuses, eels, and colorful fish across their dive sites. The wreck dives, particularly the Sea Tiger, get special mentions for impressive underwater scenery. One reviewer noted their dive location was underwhelming with mostly sand and few fish, though they praised the crew's professionalism. Overall, the combination of capable instructors, diverse dive options including wrecks and reefs, and abundant sea life makes this a solid choice for both beginners tackling their first dive and experienced divers exploring Honolulu's underwater world.
We had so much fun with Waikiki Dive Center! They took really good care of us, and our dive master, April, was amazing — super helpful, skilled, and made everyone feel comfortable throughout the dives. I also really liked that they keep the dive groups small. The whole experience felt relaxed, chill, and more personal without having to deal with large crowds. It made everything easier, more enjoyable. Thank you!
