Rent a kayak and explore the calm waters of Kaneohe Bay at your own pace, with time to reach the sandbar and nearby snorkel spots. Meet in Kailua for a quick demo and safety talk before you drive to the harbor to launch.
Conditions are generally mild with a breeze toward shore; mornings are best and calm weather suits beginners. If snorkeling, you must be able to get in and out of the kayak in the water. Wear a swimsuit, use reef-safe sunscreen, and do not touch the living reef.
Guests will meet the team at the storefront in Kailua, where staff will assist with setting up the kayaks, provide any rented gear, and give a brief demonstration along with a safety overview. Afterward, guests are free to begin their adventure. From the shop, it is approximately a 20-minute drive to the harbor where the kayaks will be launched. Guests are encouraged to ask the local guide at the shop any questions before heading out on their kayak rental.
Notify us more than 48 hours in advance for a 100% refund or reschedule. Operator cancellations due to hazardous weather may reschedule or receive a refund. Rescheduled tours cannot receive refunds. Cancellations within 48 hours are charged in full.

A: The tandem kayak fits 1 or 2 people and has a 425 lb weight capacity.
