Grandparents' Day Train Ride in Georgetown

Bring generations together for a mountain ride on the Georgetown Loop. Travel in coach class and take in steep canyons and mountain peaks.

• Receive a Grandparents' Day card as a keepsake for each grandparent
• Ride in an open-sided canopy boxcar or an open-air gondola coach car
• Board together to improve your chances of sitting with your group
• Bring snacks or a sack lunch, as coach service does not provide food or drinks

Know before you go

• Arrive at least 15 minutes before departure to pick up tickets
• Children ages 1–10 must be accompanied by an adult at all times
• Infants 11 months and younger must ride on a lap or in a body carrier; strollers and car seats are not allowed on the train
• Leave outside alcohol, glass, and large containers such as hard-sided coolers at home
• Arrive prepared for changing weather; refunds and rain checks are not offered for inclement weather
• A credit card approval and matching billing-address verification are required
• Participation requires accepting a liability waiver
