I own my own kayak and I've been kayaking for years, but I've never been to Olympia and just wanted to get out on the water a little bit. So fortunately, they had a nice two hour tour that worked with my time schedule, and I went out with a family of four who had never kayaked before. And Ross, the guide, did an awesome job of getting them up to speed on how to kayak and ensuring that they could go and do just fine out on the water. The route was great. We went around the marina, saw a whole bunch of harbor seals lounging around on the other side of some pilings, and then we got to see some other shorebirds, even got to see some pelicans. Then we went ahead and paddled down to a little island. We didn't get out, but we got to see some more nature in that area. Water was smooth, it was a beautiful day, temperature was great. And Ross just did a wonderful job, taking care of everybody, and ensuring that he didn't go faster or slower than the people could handle. So all in all, it was a great paddle. I really enjoyed it. I highly recommend this tour for someone who's experienced or someone who's a beginner.
