Private cruise, Captain, Drinks
Explore the south end of Puget Sound on a 90-minute private cruise aboard the classic 28’ motorboat “Manna.” Relax on cushioned bench seating as your captain takes you out from Boston Harbor Marina.
Boarding requires two medium steps from the dock into the boat; moving inside the cabin involves a chest-high hatch and small steps. Swimming is only allowed with captain permission and requires signing a swim waiver; towels and swimwear are not provided. Bring your own drinking water.
Cancel 2 weeks in advance for a full refund. Reschedule 2 weeks in advance with no extra fee; otherwise a reschedule fee of 25% of the booking cost applies. No refunds due to wildfire smoke. If severe wind or thunderstorms are forecast, the operator will contact you to reschedule.
Bring your own drinks and snacks if you’d like. No food is provided, and drinking water is not provided, so bring your own. You’ll also get a welcome beverage once you’re underway.
Use the shore restrooms before boarding. On the boat, you can use a small toilet in the main cabin, but getting inside requires stepping through a chest-high hatch and down a few small steps on a step ladder.
To board, step down from the dock into the boat (two medium-sized steps); the crew can assist. Once onboard, you can sit right away. The boat may rock side to side as people move around, and entering the cabin can be challenging for guests with limited mobility.
Boston Harbor Marina
Captain Cosima and her crew have created something really special on the water here. Guests consistently rave about the cozy, intimate atmosphere aboard the Manna, a charming wooden boat that sits beautifully close to the water. The unique wood-burning stove makes winter and fall cruises particularly magical, and complimentary drinks (hot toddies in cooler months, rum cocktails for sunset sails) add a thoughtful touch. The scenery is stunning, with Mount Rainier and the Olympics providing a breathtaking backdrop while sea lions often make appearances. What stands out most is how the crew makes everyone feel welcome and relaxed. Families with young children love the experience just as much as couples celebrating special occasions or friends enjoying a casual outing. You can bring your own food and drinks for a picnic vibe, and the two-hour cruises consistently fly by. The sunset cruises seem especially popular, though one guest did suggest adding a speaker system to help passengers hear the captain's commentary better. Whether it's your first time on the water or you're a repeat visitor, the combination of natural beauty, thoughtful hospitality, and that unique cozy atmosphere keeps people coming back.
We had the BEST most relaxing time on Manna with our visiting family and almost 2yr old!! Saw the Olympics and Rainier while sipping complementary hot toddies, oh my gosh, what relaxation and such a treat!! Can't wait to go out again 😍
