Itinerary
🌊 Deep Ocean Safari & Reef Snorkel – Itinerary
6:40 AM – Arrival & Check-In Arrive at Kawaihae Harbor (S Basin), meet your crew, and get fitted with snorkel gear. Safety briefing and overview of the day’s plan.
7:00 AM – Departure & Offshore Safari Depart the harbor and head offshore into deep water. We search for pelagic wildlife such as dolphins, whales (seasonal), and other open-ocean species while your crew shares insights and spotting techniques.
Wildlife Encounters & Hydrophone Listening Spend time tracking and observing wildlife, and when conditions allow, drop our hydrophone to listen to the sounds of the ocean—especially humpback whale songs during the season.
11:00 AM – Reef Snorkel Stop Return toward the Kohala Coast and arrive at a pristine reef selected for the best conditions. Enjoy guided snorkeling with time to explore vibrant coral and marine life.
Refreshments & Relaxation Enjoy drinks and light snacks onboard as you relax between activities.
Photo, Video & Education We capture complimentary photos and video throughout the trip while sharing knowledge about both offshore and reef ecosystems.
Return Cruise to Harbor Relax and take in the coastline views as we head back.
1:00 PM – Return Arrive back at the harbor with unforgettable memories from both the deep ocean and reef environments. 🌊🐬🐋🐠

- Arrive 20 minutes before the 7:00 AM departure for check-in and orientation
- Seasickness medication is not available on board; consider taking your preferred remedy the day before and 2 hours before departure
Cancellation Policy
Cancel 48 hours or more before departure for a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather, ocean conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.
FAQs
Bring a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, sun-protective clothing, a light rain jacket for wind or spray, personal items, and any additional snacks.
Seasickness medication is not available on board. For the Deep Ocean Safari, the operator recommends taking your preferred medication or natural remedy the day before and 2 hours before departure.
Lunch is optional and must be ordered at least 24 hours before departure.
