Matanuska Glacier
Upon arriving at the glacier base, you'll be greeted by a certified glacier guide who will lead you on an exciting and safe adventure across the ice. All necessary gear is provided, including ice cleats, helmets, jackets, and boots to ensure your comfort and safety. You'll embark on a guided glacier walk covering 2 to 3 miles, giving you an up-close experience of the glacier’s stunning features and natural beauty.
Lunch with a View
After the initial glacier hike, you'll have the option of purchasing lunch at a local glacier view restaurant. This scenic spot offers a chance to warm up, take in breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and ice fields, and refuel with a hearty, satisfying meal. It's the perfect break to soak in the beauty of Alaska while enjoying delicious food in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere before continuing your adventure.
Photo Stops Along Glenn Highway
As the tour continues along the scenic Glenn Highway, you'll enjoy several photo stops at some of Alaska’s most breathtaking viewpoints. These stops offer the perfect opportunity to capture the dramatic landscapes, towering mountains, and expansive valleys that define this iconic route. Take your time to admire the views and snap memorable photos before we make our way back to our final destination—Anchorage—where you'll be dropped off feeling inspired by the day’s incredible sights and experiences.

Dress in layers. Summer temperatures can range from 45 to 80°F (7 to 27°C). Bring a light windbreaker or fleece, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Wear long pants rather than shorts.
All ages can participate. A parent must complete a waiver for children under 18. Infants and toddlers require a parent- or guardian-provided infant or booster seat when needed.
