Helicopter flight, Glacier landing
Fly into Alaska's remote backcountry, where expansive icefields meet towering peaks. A glacier landing brings you out of the helicopter and onto the ice for a closer look at this alpine landscape.
We offer shuttle service from several pickup locations in Girdwood. If you’re driving, park your vehicle at our hangar at the Girdwood Airport. We ask all guests to arrive 15-minutes before your scheduled flight time for a short safety briefing. Then, you’ll be ready for your 60-minute scenic flight culminating in a spectacular glacier landing. You’ll spend 15-20 minutes out of the helicopter exploring the glacier.
You’ll have a great view from every seat, so sit back and relax as you enjoy the incredible scenery. Your professional pilot will provide knowledgeable commentary during your journey. After the completion of your flight, our driver will be ready to provide a return transfer to your destination in Girdwood.
Cancel 7 or more days before your tour for a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days incur a 50% cancellation fee; within 24 hours, no refund applies. If the operator cancels due to weather, you'll receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

Yes, an outhouse-style restroom is available, but there is no running water. Use the restroom before arriving for greater comfort.
Dress in comfortable layers and bring sunglasses and a fully charged phone or camera. The glacier is typically 10–15 degrees cooler than the base, so prepare for inclement weather. In summer, bring a light jacket and windproof outer layer; in winter, wear winter boots and bring a warm jacket, hat and gloves.
