Important details
- Arrive 30 minutes before your rental time; late arrival reduces your time on the dunes
- Complete a liability waiver for everyone in your party; a parent or guardian must sign for minors
- Bring a valid driver’s license for every driver and the renter; the renter’s license must match the card used for the rental
- 2-seat vehicles require renters age 18+ and drivers age 16+ with a valid license; 4-seat KRX drivers and renters must be age 21+
- Bring a physical card for the required refundable damage-deposit hold: $750 for Dune Rover and KRX 2-seat vehicles, or $1,000 for KRX 4-seat vehicles
- Bring eye protection such as sunglasses, glasses, safety glasses, or goggles; eye protection is required
- Ensure everyone in your party has a seat; waiting outside a vehicle to switch riders is not permitted
- Children must be at least 2 and use a forward-facing car seat when required by Michigan law; car seats are not permitted in Dune Rovers
- Dune Rovers have a 500 lb maximum total weight and are limited to 2 riders
- Pregnant women and travelers with neck or back issues are not recommended to ride
Cancellation Policy
Reservations are final. If you decline to ride because it is raining at check-in, receive a 90% refund. Full refund if the operator cancels due to unsafe weather.

FAQs
Passengers may switch to driving during your rental if they presented a valid driver’s license at check-in and meet the vehicle’s age requirements. Everyone must remain seated in a vehicle; riders cannot wait outside to switch.
Children must be at least 2 years old. Children under age 8 or under 4 ft 9 in must use your own child safety seat or booster seat in a rear seat, and children under 13 must use a rear seat when available. Car seats are not allowed in Dune Rovers.
An optional drive belt and tire waiver is available at check-in. It covers recovery from the off-road vehicle park, one replacement vehicle except after an accident, eligible tire or drive-belt parts and labor, and time lost during the rental. It does not cover unsafe or reckless driving, crashes, flips, or rollovers.
