Ride the Spring Train from Hood River on select days April–May. Cross the lower main fork of the Hood River, tackle a 3% grade with switchbacks, and stop at The Fruit Company during your layover.

Pick up your tickets at the Will Call window at the train station on the day of your ride.
Wear sturdy closed-toe shoes (no sandals, flip flops, or open-toed shoes). Bring your reservation number or confirmation email for Will Call. During boarding you’ll be outdoors briefly, so dress for the weather.
