- Single kayaks are for ages 13+
- Children ages 5–12 must ride in a tandem kayak with an adult
- Wear weather-appropriate layers, quick-drying bottoms, and shoes that can get wet
- Trips operate in rain or sunshine, and temperatures can drop quickly after sunset
