Bring valid photo identification (passport or U.S. driver’s license) for the credit card holder. If you don’t provide matching photo ID, you won’t be able to board.
Arrive on time. Boarding starts 5 minutes before departure, and your yachting time can’t be extended. If you arrive late, your charter may be shortened or cancelled, and late arrivals and no-shows are not rescheduled or refunded.
If there’s a chance of rain, the captain monitors radar and decides about rescheduling about 2 hours prior to departure if rain can’t be avoided.

Seeing New York City from the water is already special, but what travelers keep coming back to is how much the crew elevates the whole thing. Captain Marvin and his team, including crew members like Vanessa, Gino, and Jack, consistently earn praise for being warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. Guests with hundreds of sightseeing questions get real answers, and families with kids get little moments like letting them sit up near the captain. The experience seems to work beautifully for all kinds of occasions. Birthday celebrations, engagements, group trips, and family holidays all get the same thoughtful treatment. The sunset cruise past the Statue of Liberty comes up repeatedly as a standout, and the boat itself is noted for being clean and comfortable, with a bathroom on board. Food and champagne also get positive mentions, so it does feel like a full experience rather than just a boat ride. Across a wide range of travelers, including international visitors, milestone celebrators, and first-time NYC tourists, the word that keeps surfacing is "highlight." That kind of consistency is hard to fake, and it makes this a strong option for anyone looking to do something genuinely memorable on the water.
This sunset boat cruise was hands down one of the best parts of our trip. The views were incredible — nothing beats watching the sun set out on the water by the Statue of Liberty. The crew was super friendly and professional, and the whole experience felt really well put together. The boat was clean and comfortable for our 6 guests and 2 crew members (shoutout to Vanessa and Gino). Having a bathroom on the boat was a nice bonus. If you’re thinking about booking it, do it — you won’t regret it!
