6 Hours
Gear, guide, transport
Traverse sandstone cliffs above Eye of the Needle slot canyon on a guided via ferrata near Virgin. Start with instruction on a 75-foot practice wall, then hike to the rim and climb using fixed ladders, cables, and bridges.
Ages 12+ only. You must pass an assessment on the practice wall before joining the main route, and you must be 5' tall and between 88–260 lbs.
Cancel more than 14 days in advance for a 95% refund. Cancel within 14 days of the trip date and it is non-refundable. Weather does not permit client cancellations. If your guide determines it is unsafe, you will be rescheduled or offered a comparable experience; if not possible, you will receive a full refund.
No prior climbing experience is required, but you must rapidly learn technical skills, manage your own safety, and pass an assessment on the 75-foot practice wall before you can join the main route.
Plan on 5–6 hours of exertion. You should have a reasonable level of physical fitness and feel comfortable with heights and exposure.
Bring enough water and food/snacks for 5–6 hours of exertion. Hydration packs work best while climbing; if you use water bottles, tether them to your person.

With an impressive track record and consistently glowing feedback, this outfitter has clearly mastered the art of customer service. Staff members like Thomas, Whitney, and Whit get called out by name for their patience, expertise, and genuine care for visitors' experiences. The team takes time to offer thoughtful advice, whether that's helping guests choose the right gear, suggesting realistic itineraries, or even talking people out of overdoing it with back-to-back tours. Their flexibility shines through too, from staying open late for fittings to handling last-minute cancellations and medical emergencies without hassle. The gear rentals for the Narrows are a huge hit, with travelers praising both quality and fair pricing. Guided canyoneering trips and Angels Landing hikes consistently exceed expectations, with guides managing logistics like permits and transportation while keeping groups safe and moving at a comfortable pace. Multiple visitors recommend picking up rental equipment the evening before to catch early shuttles and beat the crowds.
