Explore a 10-mile electric pedal-assist railbike route from Hawley Train Depot along the Lackawaxen River. Choose how much you pedal as you ride toward the Brookfield Hydroelectric Power Plant.
Closed-toe shoes are required, and seat belts must be worn. Weight limit is 300 lbs per rider per seat; children must be with a rider age 16+ to operate the brakes. No pets, alcohol, drugs, glass containers, smoking, or certain footwear/clothing (including flip flops, Crocs, skirts, and bathing suits).
Full refund with 72 hours’ notice of cancellation. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows will be charged the full price.
Plan to board 15 minutes prior to departure.
Ride with electric pedal assist for an easier pace, or pedal manually if you want more of a workout.
Wear your seat belt at all times, and make sure each guest rides in their own seat (no lap seating). A rider age 16+ must be on the railbike to operate the brakes. Infants must ride in a chest harness attached to an adult.
