Know before you go

• Arrive 30 minutes before your rental start time for paperwork and boat orientation
• Renters ages 25+ only
• Have motorized boating experience if driving, including the ability to dock the boat
• Carry a Boating Safety Education Certificate if driving and born after January 1, 1982
• Carry a certificate from a National Association of State Boating Law Administrators-approved course if driving from out of state
• Return the boat by the contracted time; returns over 10 minutes late incur a $250 fee charged to the card on file
• Accept responsibility for damage to the boat or other boats
• Expect a $40–$80 cleaning fee if the boat is returned excessively dirty
• Expect applicable tax in addition to the listed price
• Keep a working, fully charged cell phone turned on during your rental
• Avoid tubing and waterskiing; pets, stoves, and grills are not allowed
• Do not consume alcohol if driving; rentals may be declined to anyone who appears to have been drinking
• Expect rentals to operate in rain and overcast conditions; weather cancellations are determined on the rental day
