    FAQs

Access depends on U.S. Navy operations and weather. From September 3 to October 13, the USS Arizona Memorial is closed for construction, so you cannot enter it. You still have full access to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center exhibits, and on select days the Navy may permit a boat “drive-by” around the memorial (not guaranteed and only confirmed day-of).

Bring a government-issued ID for entry. Bags are not allowed at the Visitor Center, and wallets must be no larger than a standard cell phone. Security rules are strictly enforced, and prohibited items include iPad cases and clutch wallets.

    Admission included

Standing at Pearl Harbor National Memorial, the harbor stretches out quiet and blue around you, its stillness carrying the weight of December 7, 1941. Oil still seeps slowly to the surface above the sunken USS Arizona, a reminder that this is both a memorial and an active burial site. Pearl Harbor National Memorial asks visitors to slow down, to look carefully, and to listen.

    Review summary

With an exceptional track record of nearly 3,600 reviews, this tour company consistently delivers well-organized, punctual experiences across Oahu. Charlie stands out as a fan-favorite guide who passengers describe as knowledgeable, funny, and incredibly personable. He enhances tours with thoughtfully timed videos that complement each location, shares insider stories about the island, and creates such a welcoming atmosphere that guests feel like family. Other guides like Labor and RJ also receive praise for their expertise and engaging personalities. The tours run smoothly with reliable transportation and cover multiple island highlights efficiently. Most travelers appreciate the comprehensive nature of the experiences, from Pearl Harbor to Diamond Head to cultural sites. A couple of visitors felt the pacing was too quick at certain stops or expected more hands-on activities at places like Dole Plantation, noting stops felt brief compared to drive time. Overall though, the company earns consistent praise for making visitors feel comfortable, informed, and genuinely welcomed to Hawaii. If you're looking for a reliable way to see the island with guides who clearly love what they do, this is a solid choice.
