- Sign the bareboat contract, captain's agreement, and waiver before departure

- Expect the boat to lean slightly if sails are raised; sailing depends on conditions
- Bring warm layers, a hat, sunscreen, and removable shoes; barefoot, non-slip socks, or clean boat shoes are recommended
- Bring food and soft drinks if you like; light alcohol is allowed in moderation, but hard liquor and red wine are not allowed
- Bareboat charters do not automatically include a captain; the captain option includes a $200 captain fee in the total booking price
