Standing at the edge of Lake Louise, with the Victoria Glacier reflected in water so blue it seems unreal, you understand immediately why Banff National Park has captivated travelers for well over a century. The park surrounds you with jagged limestone peaks, dense conifer forests, and rivers running cold and clear from ancient ice. Banff National Park rewards those who slow down enough to take it all in.
