    Immerse yourself in High Rock's private forest sanctuary on a three-hour walk focused on edible and medicinal plants. Trace winding trails past cliffs and canyons while smelling, tasting, and learning about seasonal flora.

    Things to know

    Participants must be at least 6, recommended 12+. Waiver and closed-toe shoes required. Tour runs with a minimum of two guests; expect moderate inclines and uneven terrain.

    Cancellation policy

    Tours may be cancelled by the operator for weather or safety; you may reschedule or receive a full refund. Cancel 10 days or more before the tour for a refund minus a per-person fee ($15 for 2–4-hour tours). No refunds or reschedules with less than 10 days' notice. Late arrivals forfeit participation and payment.

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Amazing Experience for the Whole Family! High Rock Adventures was an absolute gem from start to finish! First off, the parking lot was spacious and easy to find—always a great start to any adventure. We chose the rappelling-only option and couldn’t have been happier. From the initial safety class to our three trips down the cliff and even picking up some souvenirs afterward, we spent about 4.5 hours total—and loved every minute of it. The guides were fantastic—funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and very clearly passionate about what they do. It was also awesome to see so many veterans on staff. As a veteran myself, that hit close to home in the best way possible. We even got to meet the owner, who was super friendly and clearly cares deeply about the quality and safety of the experience. I’ve been rappelling many times before, and I have to say—this was one of the most safety-focused operations I’ve ever seen. No free-falls here. They use a double friction system (what I’d call a double friction bite), which gives an added layer of control and peace of mind. Even if your brake hand slips, you're not going anywhere. Best of all, this was the perfect adventure for my whole family. My 9- and 13-year-old daughters had a blast and handled the experience like champs, thanks in large part to the encouragement and professionalism of the staff. My wife absolutely loved it too. Whether you're new to rappelling or a seasoned pro, this is an adventure you’ll remember. Can’t recommend it highly enough—book it!
