Hike Vancouver’s top outdoor spots, from Stanley Park to the Grouse Grind
7.5 Hours
Guide, transport, guided hikes
Spend a full day hiking Vancouver’s North Shore Mountains with a driver-guide and transport from downtown Vancouver. Take on the Grouse Grind, visit Stanley Park, and cross the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge.
Bring shoes suitable for hiking (closed-toe recommended), a water bottle, and sun protection. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Food and water are not included, and the optional uphill gondola ride costs extra—confirm the amount with Greetwell before booking.
Full refund up to 8 days before departure. 50% refund within 7 days to 72 hours prior. Non-refundable and non-transferable within 72 hours. Add-ons are fully refundable. No refunds if the tour operates and you choose not to participate.
The Grouse Grind climbs about 800 m over 2.5 km and is quite steep. The trail is not technical and is well maintained, with many steep sections reinforced by wooden stairs. You need a moderate level of fitness, and you should expect to feel exhausted after the hike.
You can opt out. Either take the gondola uphill and spend more time at the top (you cover the price difference for the gondola ticket, stated as about $65 for an adult), or stay at the base and wait for the group. There’s a cafe, and you can walk to Cleveland Dam (about 30 minutes each way).
Bring closed-toe shoes suitable for hiking (preferably hiking shoes), a water bottle, and sun protection.
