Know before you go
- Provide your party size, birth date, email, phone number, and primary address at booking
- Provide your driver's license number and issuing state
- Have completed a boating safety course and provide your years of boating experience
- Fuel is filled upon return and billed separately to the credit or debit card on file; clarify the amount with Greetwell before booking
- If staff determines severe weather makes leaving the dock unsafe, your deposit is applied to a future rental and is non-refundable
- If severe weather limits safe time on the water, the rental fee is adjusted accordingly

Cancellation Policy
Cancel or reschedule at least 72 hours before your rental for a full refund minus a 15% processing fee. With less than 72 hours' notice, your deposit is forfeited. With less than 24 hours' notice, the total booking is forfeited.
FAQs
Fuel is filled upon return and billed separately; clarify the amount with Greetwell before booking. A $250 temporary damage hold is placed on a major credit or debit card at check-in and returned if the boat comes back in the same condition. Optional renter’s insurance is paid directly to the carrier at check-in; coverage and cost vary.
Each driver must present a valid driver’s license at check-in. The credit card on file must match the primary renter’s name. You must acknowledge completion of a boating safety course and provide your boating experience when booking. Illinois law requires boater education for anyone born on or after January 1, 1998, operating a motorized vessel over 10 horsepower.
A $75 cleaning fee may apply if extra cleaning is needed, including for excessive trash, food, bait, fish remains, stains, or mud. Dogs are allowed on board with a non-refundable $85 pet fee.
