Okay, goat yoga is the activity you didn’t know you needed while visiting Kauai! You’ve likely spent days in the hot sun snorkeling, hiking, and surfing. Your body is worn out and you just need a break. Well, 808 Goat Yoga is that break! Not only do you get a yoga workout for your body, but you get goat therapy for your mind! You’re greeted when you arrive by the owner of the establishment and instantly recognize that this is going to be an amazing event. The owner and the Yogi are very welcoming and you’re reminded multiple times that being distracted by the goats is 100% okay. Once the rest of your classmates arrive, the owner goes through a bit of Hawaiian history and as she wraps up, the most amazing and cute goat stampede takes place! Throughout the yoga session, the goats meander from person to person and you can’t help but smile as you reach down during warrior pose to give a meandering goat a scratch. You have plenty of time after the session to also interact with the goats and each one has their own personality. Seriously, you can’t go wrong with 808 Goat Yoga. Kids and adults in all the groups had a great time and it feels good supporting a multi generation, Hawaiian owned activity. So go ahead and sign up! You will not be disappointed!
