Adventures Kayaking earns stellar feedback for their knowledgeable and personable guides who clearly love what they do. Reviewers consistently praise guides like Seth, Cameron, Tyler, Nick, and Nikki for their expertise about local wildlife, mangroves, shells, and birds. These aren't just paddling trips—guests appreciate the educational element as guides point out spoonbills, explain shell creatures, and share local history. The tours through red mangrove channels seem particularly memorable, and several guests mention excellent shelling spots along the way. The operation gets high marks for quality equipment and making first-time kayakers feel comfortable on the water. The shallow, calm waters of Estero Bay provide an easy paddle, and guides strike a nice balance between keeping things safe and fun. Multiple reviewers, including locals, say they'd recommend this to friends and visitors, which speaks volumes. It's a locally-owned business where the staff genuinely cares about giving you a great experience on the water.
I went with my mother for a 3 hour kayak rental and it was an amazing experience. They gave us a map to use with possible paths to take so we didn't get lost which was very helpful, the employee that unloaded the kayaks was very nice and relaxed. We even stopped and took a break to swim in the gulf! I really recommend it and will definitely return!
