We were driving cross-country from California to Florida and decided we wanted to experience whitewater rafting while passing through Colorado. After finding Best Slope Adventure online, we booked the 3/4-day Lower Gunnison Float, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our entire trip. From the very beginning, everything was incredibly easy. Their website was informative, easy to navigate, and made booking a breeze. Alex was fantastic to work with and coordinated everything seamlessly, including pickup directly from our hotel in Montrose. She made the entire process simple, stress-free, and effortless. We brought our six-year-old daughter, and she had an absolute blast. Best Slope Adventure provided water booties and thought of every detail. We stopped briefly at a market to grab a few snacks, but honestly, they provided more than enough for the day, including cold water, homemade chicken salad, delicious chips, fresh-cut fruit, and amazing homemade cookies. Our guide, Clay, was simply outstanding. He was knowledgeable, professional, safety-focused, and incredibly kind. He shared fascinating information about the river and surrounding area, made sure everyone was comfortable and informed, and was wonderful with our daughter. He even offered to take photos for us throughout the day at no extra charge. His friendly, down-to-earth personality and attention to detail made the entire experience feel first-class. We loved being able to float, swim, relax, and take in the incredible scenery. It was one of those experiences that creates memories your family will talk about for years to come. Thank you, Best Slope Adventure, Alex, and Clay, for such an amazing day. From start to finish, you made everything easy, enjoyable, and unforgettable. We will absolutely be booking with Best Slope Adventure again the next time we’re in Colorado.
