This place has quietly become one of Nashville's standout spots for craft spirits, drawing consistent praise for both its drinks and the people behind them. Jim gets mentioned repeatedly as an exceptional tour guide whose deep knowledge about distilling turns a simple tasting into a genuinely educational experience. The Blend Your Own Bourbon session stands out as a highlight, giving you hands-on time with different barrel samples before crafting your own personalized bottle. Bartenders like Michael, Josh, and McKinsey have earned shout-outs for creating excellent cocktails, particularly the old fashioneds and espresso martinis. The vibe skews more relaxed and welcoming than the typical Broadway chaos, with live music and a crowd that actually lets you hear yourself think. Service hiccups do pop up in a couple reviews, with guests mentioning long waits or understaffing during their visits. That said, the overwhelming majority experienced warm, attentive service that made them feel like regulars even on their first visit. The distillery's own spirits get high marks across the board, especially their bourbon and the bottled old fashioneds. If you're looking for a more intimate Nashville experience away from the main tourist crush, this spot delivers quality drinks and memorable interactions with passionate staff.
