We booked a full day for Mahi Mahi and when we arrived Captain Brandon was upfront about the current red tide and surface weeds that were affecting the fishing explaining that where the fish were was further offshore so we may need to make the day a bit longer and thus need an additional fuel charge to maximize our success. So we ended up agreeing to it and it was 100% the right call, we wound up about 30 miles offshore and started hammering the Mahi, finished the day with 40 total and had a blast catching them, and as a bonus only ended up using half of the extra fuel we thought we needed so the extra charge was cut in half as well. Matt and Brandon were great they were super focused on our success and us having a good time, I would highly recommend them and will book again the next time I have the opportunity.
