Since 1988, the family behind Chalets in Hocking Hills has welcomed travelers to a quieter corner of Ohio where waterfalls, wildflowers, and star-filled skies do the entertaining. Choose from more than 50 cabins—cozy A-frames for ...
Guests rave about the well-appointed cabins here, highlighting spotless accommodations, comfortable beds, and thoughtful amenities like hot tubs and patios. The RockHouse gets particular praise for having everything you need. Multiple reviewers mention returning for repeat visits, drawn back by the peaceful setting and proximity to hiking trails. The staff earns consistent compliments for being warm and helpful, and the location makes it an easy escape from Columbus. The sauna pods are a popular add-on, offering Bluetooth speakers and beautiful views. However, there's a pattern worth noting: some guests report pods not reaching proper temperature quickly enough, especially during early morning slots. A few visitors also felt pods 1 and 2 lack the privacy of pod 3 due to their location near cabin traffic. Despite these hiccups, most sauna guests still rate their experience highly. Overall, this is a solid choice for a quiet Hocking Hills getaway with modern rustic charm.
My family and I have stayed here three different times at three different types of cabin at their Old Man’s Cave area and every experience has been wonderful. Hot tubs are always clean, pool was nice and family friendly, and the cabins are always spotless and have everything we needed. We used the sauna pods once and that was also super fun. Probably the only company we’ll ever stay with when visiting Hocking Hills.
