Family-owned Denali ATV Adventures has been getting guests off the beaten path since 2007. Each summer a brand-new fleet of Yamaha ATVs waits at the edge of the park, ready to ferry you across creek beds, forest trails, and ridgel...
Denali ATV Adventures delivers exactly what you'd hope for: muddy, adrenaline-pumping rides through stunning Alaskan terrain. The experience takes you through diverse landscapes including rocky trails, water crossings, and plenty of mud pits. Riders consistently rave about the scenic stops along the way, which offer spectacular views of the surrounding wilderness. The tour strikes a nice balance between adventure and education, with guides sharing interesting information about the land and local history at each pause. The staff genuinely makes this experience special. Guides go by fun trail names like Skeeter, Daisy, Tater-tot, and Thor, and they bring infectious energy and enthusiasm to every tour. They're described as knowledgeable, safety-conscious, and hilarious. One smart practice noted by riders is splitting groups into slower beginners and faster experienced riders partway through, letting everyone enjoy the pace that suits them best. One rider mentioned wishing for more driving time between stops, but still came back covered in mud and thrilled with the adventure. The entire operation runs smoothly from the shuttle drivers to the trail guides, making this a standout activity that many consider a trip highlight.
This was a one day Princess cruise excursion. It was wonderful! Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. If you hear a story about Bruce the Moose, you'll love it!! The 5 hour tour was too short but so exciting! The scenery is amazing. We got to see all of Denali (the mountain) which is rare. Usually has a cloud cover. We were privileged to hear from an Athabascan young man about his culture and their life in the area. This was a bucket list item and we were blessed and honored to be on this journey! When the mountain calls...you must go!
