Such a fun experience! On our recent family vacation, we decided to book seats on the Ice Cream Special Everett Railroad. An open window train car, we were able to really get a full view of everything from Hollidaysburg to Roaring Spring. It was so much fun viewing out the back of the car towards the tracks! The train had bench seats that could sit forward or backward as well. Once we arrived in Roaring Spring, we departed the train for a tub of amazing ice cream! We were able to check out the museum in the train station, sit outside at picnic tables with our ice cream or head over to the spring! Back on the train for the runaround of the train and then back to Hollidaysburg! A great ride! The conductor, Kim was so much fun on our train. So friendly and full of smiles! The gift shop had so many fun items to choose from. From apparel to snow globes, toys and snack foods, there was something for everyone! Would definitely ride again! Good for kids and even birthday parties! Getting tickets in advance recommended. Credit and credit cards accepted. Restrooms available on the train. Free parking lot onsite. *Wheelchair accessible entrance, parking lot, restroom, seating
