This intimate, family-run luau wins hearts with its genuine hospitality and stunning hilltop setting. The staff consistently earns praise for making guests feel like ohana, creating a welcoming atmosphere that even a 20-year Hawaii resident called the best luau experience they've had. The smaller size means everyone gets great seats and personal attention, with performers who are passionate about sharing authentic Hawaiian culture through dance, music, and storytelling. The property offers breathtaking sunset views, and several guests mention that even rainy weather couldn't dampen the magic of the evening. A few visitors felt the production quality and food didn't quite match the price point, with a couple noting the entertainment felt less polished compared to larger commercial luaus. The setup starts with drinks before the meal service begins about two hours in, which didn't work for everyone. However, the overwhelming majority found the food delicious and the entire experience worth it, particularly families who appreciated how engaging it was for both kids and adults. If you're seeking an authentic, intimate cultural experience over a big Vegas-style show, this comes highly recommended.

On our first family trip to Hawaii, we knew we wanted the luau experience. We did know some were cheesy or more commercial. When we saw the Nutridge luau, it stands out as a smaller and maybe more beautiful option. I cannot express to you how much it delivered on those thoughts and more. It was even raining on and off while we were there and it did not take away from the fun and magic of the evening. The performers and the whole staff were so fun and made the night a dream. So much information about the property and Hawaiian heritage. The amount of performances and the types of dances they showed was seriously impressive. The games and hang out time was so fun for adults and kids. The view from the property is to die for. Food was wonderful! My kids are kids but still had enough to be happy as well. My kids were 6 and 3. I truly can't imagine that there would be a better luau. Even after 8 days here, that might have been the best night of our trip. Thank you for an intimate experience that was fun and intentional and a joy for our whole family.
