This intimate, family-run luau wins hearts with its genuine hospitality and stunning hilltop setting. The staff consistently earns praise for making guests feel like ohana, creating a welcoming atmosphere that even a 20-year Hawaii resident called the best luau experience they've had. The smaller size means everyone gets great seats and personal attention, with performers who are passionate about sharing authentic Hawaiian culture through dance, music, and storytelling. The property offers breathtaking sunset views, and several guests mention that even rainy weather couldn't dampen the magic of the evening. A few visitors felt the production quality and food didn't quite match the price point, with a couple noting the entertainment felt less polished compared to larger commercial luaus. The setup starts with drinks before the meal service begins about two hours in, which didn't work for everyone. However, the overwhelming majority found the food delicious and the entire experience worth it, particularly families who appreciated how engaging it was for both kids and adults. If you're seeking an authentic, intimate cultural experience over a big Vegas-style show, this comes highly recommended.

We were received with a warm welcome by our gracious host Kala, followed by refreshments with the rest of the ohana (family). From there, we got to experience and learn much about the culture of Hawaii, including its history and traditions. From the food to the games to the traditional rituals, Nutridge truly provides an authentic Hawaiian experience, enriched with culture and education. Shout out to our driver Kane for getting us there and back safely while also educating us on the Hawaiian culture!
