Most paddlers praise this outfitter for friendly staff, fair pricing, and solid shuttle service. The team generally goes above and beyond, with several reviewers noting how accommodating they were when plans changed or when customers needed a last-minute rescue after missing their exit. The on-site amenities get thumbs up too, including a bar, food truck, and live music events that make the location more than just a launch point. That said, a few visitors ran into significant frustrations with disorganization and customer service. A couple detailed experiences describe scheduling mix-ups, shuttle confusion, and staff who seemed dismissive when problems arose. There were also complaints about short float times that didn't match what was promised and challenging exit points where assistance was lacking. The River Arts District section gets mixed feedback for feeling industrial and slow-moving compared to other local options. The majority of recent paddlers had great experiences and would return, especially those using the shuttle service with their own equipment or doing the longer 12-mile route. Just be aware that operational consistency seems to vary, so confirming details ahead of time might save headaches.
She mentioned kayaking so I started looking places up. Looked at the website but I prefer real time information so called them. It was around 11 AM and they booked us for 1 PM. Got there at 12:30 and paid and registered and all. Took the bus up the road and we were in the water! The water was busy, primarily filled with tubers. We barely paddled and just enjoyed it but still made good time. Staff and equipment were excellent. Had a very good experience and we also feel the cost was fair. Take sunscreen!
