My family and I decided to take a fishing charter while on spring break. Being an out of stater I was going in blindly but relied on reviews to hopefully have a good fishing experience. GoldenRod Fishing Charters did an exceptional job and definitely did not disappoint. Captain Jason and his deckhand Colby took great care of everyone in our party from my youngest child to my older mother, catering to everyone’s needs and getting us all on fish and sticking with an active bite throughout the trip. Colby hustled his butt off with keeping up with a fury of fish, fast action and utter chaos (in a good way) with so many hookups at the same time with a large group. Colby kept the lines with fresh bait, while Capt. Jason continued to find active fish that were hungry. We got our limit of Beeliners (Vermillion Snapper) in no time at all, and had an outstanding time making good memories with the family and charter crew.
