Not a super large village, but a decent amount of buildings to explore for a small day trip excursion. The actors are in period garb but not necessarily in character, so think more a museum curator or docent in garb than a renactor. But everyone is still very informative and educational and more than happy to answer questions. There is a bakery in the village with very good sweet treats. They have some misting areas which are nice for hot days. The brewery next door is also very nice.
