Founded by lifelong Jersey Shore photographer Bill McKim, this tour is the region’s only full-time whale-watching operation. Step aboard the spacious 120-foot Jersey Girl to witness humpbacks breach, dolphins dance, and seabirds g...
Bill and his crew run an operation that's clearly driven by genuine passion for marine life, and reviewers consistently praise how knowledgeable and friendly the naturalists are throughout the tours. The team works hard to find whales, keeping guests engaged with informative commentary even when sightings are less abundant. Many guests rave about incredible encounters with humpbacks feeding, breaching, and surfacing close to the boat, plus frequent dolphin sightings as a bonus. Worth noting: whale sightings aren't guaranteed since these are wild animals in their natural habitat, but the crew's dedication shines through regardless. Most guests leave thrilled even on days with fewer sightings, appreciating the comfortable boat and educational experience. One reviewer had frustrating issues trying to reschedule rain-cancelled tickets and felt customer service became unresponsive over time, but this seems to be an isolated situation. The overwhelming majority describe unforgettable experiences they're eager to repeat, with several already planning return trips.
Wish I could post videos because the photos don’t do it justice - this was one of my favorite things I’ve done in a long time. Truly an unforgettable experience. Bill and his team are dedicated to and passionate about what they do. Was amazed to see these beautiful creatures up close and learn so much. If you’re wondering if you should, just buy your tickets now. You won’t regret it.
