Ka Moana Luau invites guests to experience the spirit of Polynesia at Honolulu’s iconic Aloha Tower. This vibrant evening blends cultural chants, music, and dances from across the Pacific, from graceful Hawaiian hula to thrilling ...
The energy here is infectious, with guests consistently raving about the talented performers and engaging emcee who really knows how to work a crowd. The pre-show activities like lei-making and crafts get everyone in the spirit, and most visitors describe the whole evening as magical and spectacular. The staff genuinely seems to care about making everyone feel special, creating an atmosphere that works for all ages. That said, seating location matters significantly to your experience. Guests with last-minute or back-row seats report serious visibility issues and feeling overlooked, while those closer to the stage have a completely different night. The food gets mixed feedback, ranging from delicious to disappointing depending on which package you choose. A few operational hiccups with customer service have been mentioned, but the overwhelming majority leave thrilled with what many call the best luau they've experienced in Hawaii. Just book early to secure better seating and set appropriate expectations based on your ticket level.
This luau is the one that used to be by diamond head. I was sad that it relocated because the scenery is not the same. The food was not warm which was disappointing 😕. The show was amazing but overall not worth the money. Do not pay premium seating, you can get a great view from any where you sit. We got the splash pad premium and the folks in the back had a better view then us. Please do all the activities, they are memorial pieces to take back home. If I knew what I know now, we would have reserved a different venue that we had in mind. Last thing, do not try to by the first in line. Everyone has assigned seats and everyone gets the same opportunity.
