Lighthouse Excursions is a family-run Ketchikan boat tour company sharing the beauty, wildlife, and stories of Southeast Alaska since 2001. Led by year-round local residents, their award-winning Lighthouse, Totems, and Eagles Excu...
Capt Kelsey and her crew were absolutely incredible. They were welcoming and kind. They did a fantastic job of entertaining and providing factual information on the totems, the lighthouse and the areas around the sound. We were incredibly fortunate to see some amazing wildlife on our cruise (whales, porpoises, jellyfish, orcas, eagles, sea lions) - but my group of three states that even if we had seen nothing it would’ve been worth it just for the experience and the crew. Take full advantage of the outdoor areas- we remained on the front of the boat for the majority and it was perfect. The crew also provided several extra pairs of binoculars in the event you didn’t bring yours. ALSO- take the snacks they offer. It’s DELICIOUS. And they are kind enough to share the salmon dip recipe. We booked this excursion last minute through Holland and it quickly became the highlight of our cruise.
