The Liljestrand House tour was an unforgettable experience. The home has been beautifully preserved, with its original furnishings and thoughtful details making it feel as though you've stepped back into the 1960s. Every room showcases the brilliance of its mid-century modern design while offering a glimpse into Hawaii's architectural history. The panoramic views overlooking Honolulu are absolutely breathtaking and worth the visit on their own. Our docent, Steven was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the home's history and architecture. He answered every question with enthusiasm and shared fascinating stories that brought the house to life. If you appreciate architecture, design, or local history, this tour is a must. I highly recommend visiting the Liljestrand House—you won't be disappointed.
