Stunning museum! This museum, which was a private residence until about 1986, is a gargantuan turn-of-the-20th century, 31-room mansion filled with original furnishing of one of the most influential Texan families — and still among them. It is well worth the 90-minute audio tour. The cost is steep, about $20 per person. I assume most people are not willing to shell that hefty amount — but hey, the Moody family that still owns the house are billionaires for a reason — so pay them to see their stuff!
