This is our second time staying here and floating. I’m pretty sure we have no need to look anywhere else. We stayed in a cabin (2 adults, 2 kids). It was crazy hot when we were there so the AC struggled a little but the cabin served its purpose as a place to sleep and escape the heat for a bit. The river is clean and beautiful here. It’s calm and flat so you can pop a chair in the water and relax. We did the 4.5 mile float in a raft and it was so peaceful. The staff here are truly awesome. We brought our pup with us for the weekend and they went and checked on her for us while we were floating. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The campsites were just what we needed with covered picnic tables (with a fan overhead) and firepits with grill grates. Everybody loved the water slide of course. If you have younger kids who still enjoy playgrounds, they have a very nice playground area as well. From the staff to the location to everything they have on site, this is a great place for families. Note, there is zero cell service here and no WiFi. I personally think that’s a plus and I hope they never add WiFi here at all! Nobody was on their phones except to take pictures. Such a welcome break from the pulls of technology. We will be back ❤️
